The key hallmark of this series is all solid-state-electronics and in modular form (modules). Using PIN Diode technology. PDM-100A, electrical delay (phase shift) to 1.0 ps step resolution.
Total range is to 5.12 ns and accuracy to ± 1 ps. Easily automate manual phase shifters with precision programmable control and high-precision delay.
Programmable Interface
Delay settings can be specified via Ethernet TCP/IP or RS-232 protocols. Simple commands, like del 100 ps, are sent to the unit and the corresponding delay is realized. A programmable interface assures instrument repeatability, accuracy, and performance superior to any manual phase shifter or delay line generator available elsewhere.
Any size delay can be achieved up to the maximum range, in steps of 1 ps.
Modules available individually
PDM modules are also available separately for OEMs in three versions:

P1-PDM (fine delay for the 1 ps, 2 ps, 4 ps, and 8 ps)

P2-PDM (medium delay for the 5 ps, 10 ps, 20 ps, 40 ps, 80 ps, 160 ps, 320 ps, and 640 ps)

P3-PDM (coarse delay for the 1280 ps and 2560 ps)
